Mehak

I am a researcher at Glasgow Caledonian University, conducting research on the applications of nanofluids in solar collectors.
My master's degree in "Energy and Environmental Management" from Glasgow Caledonian University. Previously, I completed an MSc in Physics as well as a BSc with majors in Maths and Physics.
I am a friendly and engaging person, and passing on my knowledge is something I enjoy. I always think of new ways to make solutions clear to students.

Tutoring Experience

I began tutoring Physics and Mathematics in 2013 while I was pursuing my master's degree in Physics in Pakistan. Since 2018, I have also been running tutorials in Mathematics, physics and Mechanical Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University for undergraduates, and I have taught a few renewable energy subjects at the MSc level at GCU.

For the past 4 years, I have been working one-on-one with students from various backgrounds, both in person and online, to help them achieve better grades in exams.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching goal is to provide a nurturing environment that allows students to learn and grow intellectually.
In my previous tutoring experience in Pakistan and the Glasgow, I have taught students from different backgrounds. And because I believe that each student has a unique learning style, I constantly attempt to tailor my tutoring approach to meet the needs of each student as much as possible.
I encourage active participation, asking questions, and engaging in discussion to deepen understanding. I'm dedicated to breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, making learning enjoyable and accessible.
