Tutoring Experience

I have been a Head of Physics and a Physics teacher in a large secondary school. I have enabled many students to surpass predicted grades and some to attain 100% in A-Level and GCSE Physics Units.

As I have taught GCSE and A-Level Physics for several years I have a wealth of resources and knowledge to share when tutoring, this, combined with my in-depth knowledge of exam specifications, will be invaluable to any tutee.

Tutoring Approach

I tailor sessions to the student, assessing their understanding so that I can target areas of difficulty. I also focus on exam techniques.

The sessions will be a mixture of direct teaching and assessing understanding through use of questioning techniques and using past exam questions to hone exam technique.
